Capital access needs structure. And people who create it.
Henrion combines structured real estate finance, private credit, capital partner access and operational transaction experience.
The management works at the interface of real estate and corporate situations, international capital partners and Luxembourg structuring architecture. The focus lies on capital situations in which conventional financing logic is not sufficient: refinancing, mezzanine, bridge, preferred equity, whole loan, restructuring, portfolio financing and alternative capital structures.
What is decisive is not the mere approach to capital providers. What is decisive is whether a capital situation is prepared in such a way that value, risk, repayment and governance become investable for alternative capital partners.
Dr. Norman Scherer, MBA
Dr. Norman Scherer is an experienced finance executive with a focus on debt advisory, structured finance and real estate credit. His focus lies on institutional investment platforms, complex capital structures and cross-border transactions.
As former Managing Director of Emerald Advisory, he advised a Luxembourg-regulated real estate debt platform on credit investment strategy, capital structuring and institutional capital allocation. His work encompassed portfolio asset management as well as workout and servicing matters on large-volume real estate credit exposures, including in the context of the Marshall Bridge Fund.
In parallel, he is responsible for corporate finance and transaction mandates relating to real estate, financing and capital structuring in the EMEA region. He combines credit, transaction and capital markets expertise with the structuring of risk-adjusted financing and investment solutions in complex market environments.
Max Lorenz
Max Lorenz has several years of experience in M&A, private equity and post-merger integration with a clear focus on real estate and special situations. After his Master in Management at ESCP Business School with a specialisation in real estate, finance and investment banking, he began his career as an investment banking analyst at a London investment bank in the tech sector.
This was followed by positions as an investment banking associate in the distressed segment, where he accompanied the sale process of a leading German prefabricated house manufacturer — including negotiations with creditors, insolvency administrators, tax advisers and investors.
At a mid-market private equity firm focused on special situations, he was responsible on an interim basis for the post-merger integration of several portfolio companies.
In parallel, as Advisor to the Shareholder, he advises a private equity firm specialising in distressed real estate on the implementation of financial and deal models. In addition, as an M&A advisor at a corporate finance boutique in the tech growth segment, he supported the successful closing of several M&A transactions.
Max Lorenz is enrolled in an external PhD programme at ESCP Business School. As Principal at Henrion, he contributes his experience from real estate investment banking, private equity, distressed M&A and operational post-merger integration.
Jasmin Erlich
Jasmin Erlich brings many years of experience at the intersection of real estate, transaction management and asset management. A qualified real estate economist (IRE|BS), she combines a solid grounding in real estate economics with more than two decades of leadership experience in sales-, expansion- and transaction-driven roles — from the management of large-scale retail and commercial property portfolios to the cross-border expansion of international brands. She is also a member of the Board of the S.T.I.R. Geneva — Swiss Institute for Transnational Investment Relations, Geneva, Switzerland.
At Henrion, she is responsible for the transaction-related management of ongoing financing and investment processes. Her focus lies in leading transactions across the entire process.
A particular focus of her work lies in investor relations. Drawing on her experience in managing institutional accounts and maintaining strategic relationships, she brings a keen understanding of the expectations and decision-making logic of alternative capital providers. She treats communication with investors as a relationship in its own right — continuous, tailored to its audience and extending beyond the individual transaction.
As Director for Transaction Management & Investor Relations, Jasmin Erlich combines real estate expertise, hands-on transaction leadership and institutional investor relations. Her experience in asset management, expansion and portfolio management makes her a central point of contact for capital partners throughout the entire transaction cycle.

This includes investment and pitch documents, the plausibility assessment of economic key figures and the presentation of asset quality, capital need, collateral logic and risk positioning towards international capital partners.
Lorenz Adrian is involved in the preparation and support of large-volume real estate and portfolio financings. In these mandates, he works on the structuring of financing profiles, the coordination of ongoing transaction processes, communication with capital providers and the commercial assessment of investor feedback and potential transaction parameters.
As Transaction & Investor Relations Manager at Henrion, Lorenz Adrian works at the interface of deal preparation, investor targeting, financing structuring and investor relations.
Capital access needs structure. And people who create it.
Complex capital situations rarely arise from a single financing need. They arise from the connection of asset, capital structure, risk, time, collateral and repayment.
Henrion works where this connection has to be established professionally: in the preparation of capital structures, the preparation of financing profiles, the approach to selected capital partners and the leadership of demanding transaction processes.
Capital access arises when substance, structure and capital partner logic come together.
